Hello Friends!

heim-made will be at the state fair with bells on our slippers, sweet smells on our skin, cute hats on our heads -- and mini-doughnuts in our hands!

We've geared up with lots of new products and stories: the coziest mohair wool socks you'll have wear (now with a dye kit to personalize them any which was you like), gorgeous hand-knit wool hats (you'll appreciate them even more in a couple months), recycled-wool hats, scarves, bags, flower patches and phone pouches, hand-parched wild rice from the rivers of northern MN, our tried-and-true Lotion (just in time for you know what), Shoap (shampoo AND soap bars), lip and skin balm and much more. All made from recycled materials and/or from scratch. Afterall - heim means home in german ;)

We are ready to take on everything the state fair has to offer!

Please find us (and tell all your FRIENDS to find us) under the main Grandstand (main floor slightly to the left of the stairway) for a hello! A familiar face in the sea of THOUSANDS will be very welcome!!

In our northern MN community, resources are limited. So if you want something done right you either do it yourself or find someone who can. Many of our neighbors are 1st generation to the settlers of the area, so the pioneer spirit still ripples through our community. On our journey we identified with and were inspired by these folks, who are known for doing whatever it takes to solve problems to enrich the lives of others. Heim-made celebrates their ingenuity, determination, sense of humor and resourcefulness by sharing local, historic photos and tales on our labels.
